Read about medal count in Winter Olympic Games for Poles, read also about 2004 Olympic Games is Athens. The performance measured as the efficiency, amount of medals per one participant, was the worst since 1952. Some newspapers write about it as a failure or even a catastrophe of Polish sport. Poles received only ten medals - 3 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze. Four less than during Olympic Games in Sydney (2000) and seven less than in Atlanta games (1996).
